Creating and leading a multi-faceted effort focused on establishing key strategic partnerships with world-class organizations, Robert Sarrazin is a healthcare innovation leader with 20 years’ experience in private equity and venture capital.
Since joining GSK Consumer Healthcare as Vice President, Global External Innovation and Direct Investments in 2015, Sarrazin has substantially increased the GSK external innovation pipeline, converting opportunities into a strong, sustainable flow of new product launches.
With a long track record of successfully identifying, building and managing a portfolio of high-growth private companies, Sarrazin focused on acquiring and managing controlling ownership positions. In this role, he helped a diverse range of innovative healthcare companies achieve full potential through implementation of strategic growth plans, management team enhancement and execution of complementary acquisitions.
Previously, Sarrazin was a Senior Partner with CSW Private Equity, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Charter Oak International Partners and General Partner of Charter Oak Capital Partners. He has been a member of numerous Boards of Directors, with full oversight on setting policies and providing necessary resources for successful implementation of long term growth objectives.
Sarrazin holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Joe earned his PhD in Food Microbiology & Safety from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Prior to joining GSK Consumer Healthcare, Joe was the Director of Search & Evaluation for Novartis OTC. "There are lots of exciting innovations going on around the world—we’re open to exploring them and creating new partnerships to continually serve people’s evolving health needs."

Mike previously worked at Novartis, Schering-Plough and Honeywell. He has a BS in Chemistry from Manhattan College and an MLIS degree from Rutgers University.
